Mission

To strengthen our community by meeting both immediate and practical needs—feeding families  and providing essential household items —so that every person can experience stability, dignity, and a true new beginning.

Vision

Providing food, essential household goods, and hope to our community—one week, one family at a time.

About Our Founder

Bishop Harry Eaves is a seasoned pastor, community leader, and nonprofit executive with nearly two decades of faithful service to both church and community. He is the Senior Pastor of New Beginnings House of God, where he has served since 2006 and is approaching his 20-year pastoral anniversary. Known for his heart for people and commitment to transformational ministry, Bishop Eaves has dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel while addressing the practical needs of underserved communities.

Bishop Eaves founded New Beginnings Outreach Community Development Corporation in 2015 and incorporated in 2020. Since then, it has grown into a thriving community resource, most notably through its expanding food ministry. Through strategic partnerships with the LA Regional Food Bank and Food Finders, the organization provides consistent food distribution to families in need, with a long-term vision of becoming a fully established food bank.

Bishop Eaves also partners with World Vision, providing household goods and essential resources to communities throughout South Central Los Angeles, a ministry he has faithfully led for the past three years. His commitment to community impact has opened doors for broader civic engagement, including his service as Board Chair at the Gardena-Carson YMCA, an opportunity that emerged through the successful operation of his food program at the YMCA facility.

A graduate of Banning High School in Wilmington (Class of 1984), Bishop Eaves later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Vanguard University in 2019. He is a devoted husband of nearly 20 years and a proud father of five children. Deeply invested in the well-being of families, Bishop Eaves remains focused on expanding New Beginnings Outreach CDC and advancing sustainable solutions to food insecurity across Gardena, Carson, Compton, South Central Los Angeles, and Long Beach.

His life’s work reflects a commitment to faith in action—serving both the spiritual and physical needs of the people with excellence, compassion, and vision
